Passenger Lists

Passenger lists are one of the official records listing the arrival of the majority of immigrants arriving in New France and Quebec. Each passenger list may give the following information: name of ship; passenger name, age, gender, and nationality; date of arrival, port of arrival; and final destination.
In Quebec, there are two major ports where your immigrant ancestors may have arrived, Quebec City and Montreal. The following links to passenger lists prior to and after 1865 for the ports of Quebec City and Montreal could help with your ancestral research.
